My life was a bitter one, for the only purpose I had in life was survival. When my parents divorced, dad got another wife with whom we had no relationship. So, I did not experience primary love and companionship. This affected my grades greatly, that I finally dropped out of school. I learnt weilding and shoe repair and started a life. I worked to get money thinking that it will supply the companionship I needed. I did not get this money. I resorted to get a wife to give me that love I longed for. We had a child together and our relationship ended in no where. We divorced and that child was taken away from me. Many say and said I have a mental problem which I may have gotten after this incidence. The result was association with anyone was not possible. I remained very lonely and friend less. Then I had about the prophecy of hope over community radio and decided to attend to see whether there is any hope. Truly, I learnt about the origin of evil, the plan of redemption and the blessed hope we have. Meaning was added to my life. The speaker Mr. Kaganda Joshua elaborated truly that we are not on the planet for fun but for purpose. Jesus was presented, not just as a sin pardoning saviour and lord, but a friend who truly loves even me! Always there protecting and taking care of me! I could delay no longer, I got baptised. I moved in and started staying with the SHALACH team. They really loved me and for the first time, I experienced the joy of true love, the a taste of heaven. Now I belong to the family of God and long for that day when he will come, take me home where I will have true companionship and love.
