“I come from a family where there is sincere devotion and attachment to our home religion. But this religion was full of repetitions and soon, it became a round of ceremonies. Church became boring to me and i only attened because i had no option. It seemed to me as though God is not real, but a fantasy and a superstition. Spiritually, i was starved, and regard for anything religious became cold. However, my soul was still yearning for spiritual bread, but i knew that i would eat the same repetitions at church. I did not stop worshipping, but religion was not achieving its purpose to me. When I attended the prophecies of hope seminar organized by SMI, I saw a flood of spiritual bread as never before. The bible became a living book to me, the pieces where all joining perfectly, and the purpose of religion was revealed to me as never before. God was no longer some distant being out there, but to me he became a father. Important among what was presented was true baptism, which is just a symbol showing total conversion. I learnt truths and what God wanted me to do in order to be saved, then I gave my life to Jesus and vowed to worship him as he wants me to.”
